Rules and Expectations
We ask that all members abide by these basic guidelines which help provide for a friendly environment conducive to enjoyable gaming for all. Violation of any of these rules is grounds for demotion, suspension, or dismissal at the discretion of the Staff. All proposed amendments to the rules should be brought forward in the Senate Floor forum.
General Rules
- Treat your fellow clan members with respect.
- Absolutely no cheating or glitching.
- Aggressive or unprovoked trash talking, racism, and sexism are forbidden.
- Do not insult another member's game play: we all have off-days and streaks, but everyone earned their place in the clan.
- In formal clan matches, we demonstrate a competitive class. Bring your A-game and your best behavior. Remember that no matter how annoying someone or some clan might be, TPA will always stand for a positive gaming environment. If a clan has some jackass on their team, that’s their problem. Our involvement with said clan will reflect that. No need to get all upset about it. You can deal with all that crap when you make staff.
- Intentional betrayals out of frustration or any other negative reason are forbidden.
- Politics and religion are not to be discussed on the forums, which are for light, agreeable conversation.
- You may have only one gamer tag in the clan. Exceptions may be made if approved by a Staff member or higher.
- If you are in TPA, you may not be in any Halo clan other than TPA, regardless of whether you use your primary or a secondary gamer tag for that clan.
- If you have a problem with another member, whether this problem pertains to game play, forum conversations, or anything else, please contact an Overlord via PM to discuss the situation. Do not argue with other members on the forums.
Inactivity Guidelines
- If you will be offline and/or away from the forums for an extended period of time, you must notify a ranked Staff or higher to notify the clan of the situation.
- Any member who disappears without explanation is subject to demotion or dismissal.
- The Staff may elect to dismiss a member who will be inactive for an extended period of time. If this is the case, the former member will be considered for admission at the rank of Member upon his or her return to activity.
- Any Staff member who is offline for an extended period of time may be demoted. If this is the case, the former Staff member will be considered for re-promotion upon his or her return.
